Hi Mako Sharks Families,

We are excited to offer our first Massey Mako Sharks Swim Clinic, and this is a great opportunity for swimmers to get focused instruction in a smaller, high-impact setting as we head into the season. This clinic is highly recommended but not required.

This clinic is designed to help swimmers build confidence, improve technique, and feel more prepared for practices and meets.

Clinic Details

Location: 1840 Felts Pkwy, Fort Mill, SC 29715
Check-in: 7:45 AM at the pool entrance
Cost: $30 per swimmer
Event: Swim Team Only

Clinic Format

We will run the clinic in small groups with a station-based format to allow for more individual coaching, feedback, and repetition. Swimmers will stay active, engaged, and get a lot of hands-on instruction throughout.

What We’ll Be Working On

1. Dive starts and streamline glides
2. Breaststroke, including kick and arms
3. For Shrimp swimmers, ages 6 and under: meet setup and relay introductions
4. Parent session: how to be a supportive summer league swim parent

All parents are welcome to stay for the clinic and/or attend the parent session.

The goal is to clean up key skills that make a big difference in races while also helping swimmers and parents feel confident going into the season.

• There is also an option to donate to the Swim for Mental Health Foundation. Any donation made there comes to us 100% fee-free and directly supports our programs and initiatives, including future goals like starting blocks. This is also completely optional.
