Hi Mako Sharks Families,

We’re excited for our upcoming Mako Sharks Optional Technique Clinic on Saturday, May 16. This clinic is designed to provide swimmers with more focused instruction, smaller-group coaching, and detailed race-skill development outside of regular team practice.

Date: Saturday, May 16
Time: 8:00 AM – 9:45 AM
Check-In: 7:45 AM at the pool entrance
Location: 1840 Felts Pkwy, Fort Mill, SC 29715
Cost: $30 per swimmer

Clinic Format

The clinic will run in a station-based format with small groups to maximize individual coaching, feedback, repetition, and swimmer engagement.

Clinic Focus Areas

Shrimp / Younger Swimmers

• Backstroke starts and finishes
• Freestyle dive confidence and body position

Older Swimmers

• Breaststroke technique
• Butterfly technique
• Open turns
• Freestyle flip turns

Supporting the Program

This clinic is completely optional, and proceeds from the clinic help support:

• Junior coach development and stipends
• Future starting block fundraising efforts

Please purchase one ticket per swimmer and enter each swimmer’s name and age during checkout.

Important Notes on Checkout

Zeffy may include an optional tip to support their platform. This is completely optional. You may select “Other” and enter $0 if preferred. These funds do not go to the Mako Sharks.

There is also an optional donation section for the Swim for Mental Health Foundation. Donations made there come to us 100% fee-free and directly support our programs, junior coaches, and future facility improvements like starting blocks.
